Refer to the Guide included in the packaging of your scanner to set up your new scanner.
You will need to set the prefix to add a [ character. Look for the barcode with the left bracket prefix.
If the issue still persists after scanning the barcodes in the manual, then you will need to connect the scanner to notepad and capture the output scans in notepad.
As you can see the output scans are missing the left bracket prefix in the scans.

Once you have scanned the prefix and it is still not working:
Check that your scanner is fully charged.
Make sure the scanner is paired to your iOS device and not to another device.
Check that Bluetooth is turned on within your iOS settings. If enabled, turn it off and back on.
